Data Scientist (Retail Analytics & Forecasting)

• Freelance Role
• 6+ years experience in data science with a focus on retail, pricing, and demand forecasting
• Must have proven experience using Python, R, and machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, Prophet)
• Strong knowledge of time series forecasting, customer segmentation, and inventory optimization
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift)
• Client-facing experience, including data storytelling and model explainability
• Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills
• Must be based in Chicago and able to work on-site
